Every guest at our hotel, whether staying for business or pleasure, needs to take a break from time to time. At the Wingate by Wyndham, we are surrounded by activities that can be enjoyed outside of our hotel.

Within walking distance, you will find Apple Blossom Mall with over 85 stores, including a Sears, JC Penney and Belk. Less than a mile away there are a number of shopping centers that boast stores such as Wal-Mart, Kohl's, KMart, Lowe's, and Home Depot. For those who are taking advantage of our suites with full kitchens, you will find a Food Lion and a Martins grocery store within these shopping malls as well.

Realizing that not every one wants to cook while away, there are over 20 restaurants within a mile of the Wingate by Wyndham. In the evening, try a taste of Winchester. Try the Wayside Inn, Cork Street Tavern, Café Sophia, One Block West for something different. Some
of casual local restaurants include Ruby Tuesday, Pargos for sit-down dining, and Chili's with delivery is adjacent to Wingate; however if you only want to take a short break, Waffle House, Kentucky Fried Chicken, McDonalds, and Wendy's are also nearby.
